Questions We Get a Lot

Plug-and-play hot tubs run on a standard 120V household outlet, so you can set one up without any electrical work — ideal if you want a straightforward path to getting in the water. Hardwired 240V models typically power stronger jets, faster heating, and more features, but they do require a dedicated circuit installed by a licensed electrician before use. Think about how you plan to use it and how your outdoor space is already set up.

Monthly running costs depend on your local electricity rate, how often the tub is used, the insulation quality of the cabinet and cover, and how consistently you maintain the water temperature. A well-insulated hot tub kept at a steady temperature typically uses less energy than one that's repeatedly reheated from cold. Investing in a quality cover and keeping it on when the tub isn't in use makes a meaningful difference to your energy bill.

Regular hot tub care comes down to three things: water chemistry, filtration, and the shell. You'll want to test your water two to three times a week and adjust sanitizer and pH levels as needed, rinse or replace filters on a schedule, and drain and refill the tub every three to four months depending on usage. It sounds like more than it is — once you're in the rhythm, it takes about 15 minutes a week.

We offer free shipping on most orders within the Continental U.S. (excludes AK/HI) — hot tubs ship via freight carrier and are typically delivered to a location accessible by truck, such as your driveway or curbside. If something isn't right, our 30-Day Return Policy has you covered; visit our Return Policy page for the full details on how to start a return.

About Our Hot Tubs

A hot tub is one of those additions to a home that quietly changes how you use your space. Whether it lives on a back deck, beside a pool, or tucked into a landscaped corner of the yard, it becomes a destination — a place to decompress at the end of the day, spend unhurried time with people you care about, or simply sit still for a while. When you're choosing one, the right fit comes down to a few honest questions: How many people will use it regularly? Do you want the simplicity of a plug-and-play setup or the performance of a hardwired 240V system? How important are jet count, seating layout, and cabinet insulation to you? What does your climate demand from a cover and shell material? A hot tub is a long-term piece of your home, so it's worth slowing down to match the model to your actual lifestyle rather than the one you imagine. The right one pays for itself in the evenings you actually use it.
